Academics

St. Rita's School curriculum is the Diocese of San Diego curriculum including the basic core instructional program: Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Computer Education. The instructional program is enhanced by school liturgies, sports, and student government. Students regularly participate in education programs that allow them to use their creative talents, and to employ these talents in leadership roles.

Our Catholic faith permeates the entire curriculum with the emphasis on values and Catholic doctrine. Catholic traditions such as May Crowning, the Rosary, celebrations of Saints' Days, and special activities during the liturgical seasons of Lent and Advent are an integral part of the school program. Parents are involved in the classroom preparation program for First Reconciliation and First Communion.
